One of the rarest flamingo species in the world, the Andean flamingo is native to the Andes mountain range from southern Perú to northwestern Argentina and northern Chile. Due to habitat destruction and egg poaching, the Andean flamingo is considered a vulnerable species. Creation of National Parks, environmental education and dedicated specialist groups are all helping to protect this species.

It is mould-made 100% cotton rag crafted at the Arches paper mill in Lorraine, France. Using giclée fine art reproduction technology, each print includes the Marini Ferlazzo embossment, validating it as an authorised giclée print that conforms to archival standards.
